Trophy Day

Yesterday was the last day of soccer until spring.
Owen has been very hot and cold with soccer this season but considering he is 4 and this is his first time, I think he has done great.
When he shows up (meaning when he gets out of bed and wants to go) he brings a lot energy with him.
Rev'ing his engine
Go Owen! Go Owen!
Clapping for the goal they just scored.
Get in there Owen!
More clapping for his team.
Proud owner of his first trophy.
Reading his name
Enjoying the sweet victory of a fun first soccer season. We are so proud of you Owen!
The afternoon game belonged to Ethan. (far right)
His games are slightly more active because the children are actually learning the game, having line changes and subs and playing children who are not on their team.
Ethan is doing really well and is coming into his own with soccer. He wants to play indoor soccer over the winter in between his next CASL season so that will help him to continue gaining more confidence.
His only draw back right now, if you want to call it that, is going after the ball instead of waiting for it to come to him. But he is getting there.
Great season U7 Blues!
Next up was trophies and awards.
Ethans award was Steady and Strong Award. His coach said just when they thought they were in big trouble with the other team scoring - out of no where Ethan would show up and block their shot.
Great job Ethan! We are so proud of you!
