for the Greater Raleigh area
We took the children to their first hockey game today. Chris and I have both always enjoyed hockey games but as with everything else we used to love to do, we no longer get to do it because of, well, you know. So we thought we would give it a try and see how everyone did.
They really did great! I was pleasantly surprised.
As long as we kept the snacks coming.
First period it was 2 pretzels, 2 hot dogs, nachos and a Pepsi.
Second period it was more nachos, popcorn and a Gatorade.
Chris was within a couple of inches of catching a t shirt they were throwing in the crowd.
But he was holding Ethan and couldn't quite reach it.
This was Owen's favorite thing.
The Canes won 5-3 against the Canucks. No fights. A little pushing, not much checking, but still a good time. I hope this means we will be able to start taking them to more things like this in the future.
I know Chris would really like to take the boys here
and I would like to go to see what all the hype is about.
