Eliza, You Are 7 Months Old

What are you up to these days?

Well, the biggest accomplishment just happened while I was taking your picture for this post.
You pulled yourself up to standing completely on your own. Time for daddy to lower your crib just a little bit more.
You are getting stronger and louder every day. You are learning how to smack your hands on things to make noise. And you are starting to babble more.
You are eating more solid foods and have now tried carrots and green beans. Next week at day care I am going to get a menu and circle more solid foods that you can start experimenting with there.
Your sleeping patterns are still not ideal. We have had a few good nights recently but last night you were back up crying. Maybe you are cutting another tooth. You have 6 now.
The other day I was bringing things in from the car and sat you down in the kitchen; when I came back inside I didn't see you. I looked around wondering where you could have gone and found you had laid down on your belly and pushed yourself backwards into the dining room. You are starting to learn how to get to where you want to go. Daddy continues to try to teach you to crawl.
Your brothers adore you and love to hold you and pick you up. We have to watch them closely because they will put you down wherever they see fit even if it is not a good place.
You are getting better and better at picking up your Gerber puffs and you have learned how to mash food between your gums.
You are immeasurably more than anything I could have asked for.
~Ephesians 3:20

Happy 7 months sweet, baby girl.
