What a wonderful day! Wonderful really doesn't to it justice. It started bright, well actually, not bright, but early for me. I went to the SonRise service this morning and it was just perfect. The world was still asleep for the most part. The service was really short, maybe 20 minutes or so. One of the deacons played Amazing Grace on his trumpet and we sang a few songs. The birds were chirping, the sun was just beginning to rise. It was a perfect start to my day.
Then I came home to help Chris get everyone ready which surprisingly went rather easily. We headed out the door and even made it in time for Sunday school.
Chris missed this mornings picture but he looked so handsome. I told him I wanted to get his picture when we got home before he changed, but he was too fast for me. :-(
After church we came home to lunch and then an egg hunt in our yard.
I don't have much to report. It was just an egg hunt; nothing special. The boys had fun. And I had fun sitting in the yard soaking it all in.
I love this one. You can see her little strands of hair blowing gently, the half smile, absolute contentment. And that is exactly how I feel today.
